Got Me Looking (Vet Shop Boys, #3) by Casey Cox

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

A jilted groom and a guy who doesn’t believe in monogamy fall in love? Yeah. Right.

After getting cheated on at my own goddamn wedding, I’m through with men. I’m approaching fifty, and all I’ve ever wanted is to settle down, get married, and live happily ever after. But yeah, that hasn’t exactly worked out great for me.

The last person I expect to understand me is Tate. Sure, he’s cute, curious, and clever. A firecracker with no filter who somehow manages to stay friendly and genuine at the same time. But he isn’t exactly a settle-down kinda guy. Oh, and did I mention he’s also twenty years younger than me?

There’s no way something could ever happen between the two of us, so how is it possible that Tate has got me looking at love––and him––in a whole new light?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Got Me Looking is a great romance by Casey Cox that explores types of love.

Earlier in the series, Gus was heartbroken upon discovering his husband was cheating on his at his own wedding reception. Ouch! This perfectly sets the tone for Gus's story and the reader's desire to see him find his happy ending.

Starting off his own love story, Gus is now set up with Tate as his "chaperone" for the night. The attraction is definitely there between these two, but Tate is open about being polyamorous, while Gus is monogamous.

With the two agreeing to a fake relationship for a short term, things get interesting as their time spent together leads to a strong connection.

Overall, their tale explores being poly versus monogamous, and the exploration of one's own sexuality. I applaud the author for the way this is all developed, in a true manner, never cheapening what it means to be poly. Instead we get an honest and raw internal conflict of one's own views.

I enjoy every moment of this story. It's a May to December romance in which the age gap is never an issue. The chemistry is amazing and the emotions felt throughout.

Got Me Looking is a wonderful read. Be sure to pick up this Casey Cox book if you're in the mood for a romance that shouldn't work out, but does. You won't regret it.

The Life Revamp (The Love Study #3) by Kris Ripper

All Mason wants to do is fall in love, get married and live happily ever after.

The hunt is beginning to wear him down…until he meets (slightly) famous fashion designer Diego. Everything sparks between them—the banter, the sex, the fiery eye contact across a crowded room.

There's just one thing: Diego is already married and living his happily-ever-after, which luckily (or not) for Mason includes outside courtships. But not quite in the way he'd always imagined.

Mason thought he knew what would make him happy, but it turns out the traditional life he'd expected has some surprises in store

My Rating - 4 Stars!

The Life Revamp is a fabulously unique romance by Kris Ripper. The third book in The Love Study series, it's easily read as a standalone.

The romance in this one is an untraditional one, making for a fantastic read.

Mason always wanted to fall in love, get married, and spend his life happily ever after with the man he loves. But things change when he meets Diego.

Diego's a polyamorous man who's married to Mason's friend. Diego wants to be with Mason but Mason struggles with what that might look like.

This book is an important look into what love can look like. Not everyone wants monogamy. Not everyone wants to be in a throuple. Some people want to be married, but also have a separate relationship with someone else.

I enjoy all of Mason's thought processes and insecurities about what a relationship with Diego could look like.

But best of all, I like Mason and I like Diego. Their non-traditional romance is well done, compelling, and well worth a read.

This is Mason's story, all told from Mason's first person pov. The author does a great job exploring Mason's feelings, worries, and doubts.

The Life Revamp is an interesting read. I definitely recommend this Kris Ripper book when you're in the mood for a romance that's a little different.

Spare Room (The Trouble With Triads #1) by E.M. Denning

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Alex feels like a failure. He abandoned Tristan for big dreams and has nothing to show for it all now.

When the fire leaves him homeless, Tristan and his husband Ben come to Alex’s rescue. He can’t refuse the offer of their spare room. But what happens when Alex falls for his ex... and his husband?

Ben and Tristan have recovered from the last try to add a third partner to their relationship when Alex falls into their lap. Despite their history, the chemistry is right, and Tristan hopes Alex can see how good they could be together.

Alex fears coming between Ben and Tristan. But what if that’s exactly where they want him? If the husbands want him to stay, they’ll need to convince him they need him as much as he needs them. Can they make Alex believe they have room in their hearts for him?

Spare Room is the first book in a series of standalone novels all about polyamorous (MMM) relationships.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Spare Room is a sweet menage romance. This EM Denning is the first book in The Trouble with Triads series.

If you enjoy a couple bringing a third into their relationship, read this book. If you enjoy roommate romances, read this book.

I love a good menage book and this one is a good one.

Alex is Tristan's ex. I adore that Ben isn't jealous of letting Alex stay with them. I enjoy all the little things that make this one go from friends to lovers. It's definitely sweet.

That said, this is definitely light on some of the layers. With menage stories, I prefer there to be a lot of depth to all of the relationships, but this one isn't as in depth as I prefer. A lot of it is left up to interpretation of what may be in the future. There's nothing wrong with that, but it certainly keeps my rating a little lower.

Overall, Spare Room is a fun read. If you enjoy menage romances, this is worth a try. And with EM Denning making this go from two to three in the relationship, that just adds to the allure.

Bears in the Woods by K.C. Wells

Amazon Link   - Available in KU

The secluded rental cabin offers Jim Traynor exactly what he needs: peace and quiet to finish his latest book, and maybe a little inspiration for a new series. There’s even a little dog named Buster to provide an adorable distraction. Buster’s owners, however, bring distraction of a very different kind. Jim’s determination to focus on his work doesn’t stop his delicious fantasies, but each new encounter with Julian and Michael makes him forcefully aware of the aching desire building within him.

Julian and Michael have built a wonderful life together. Then Jim’s arrival rocks it to its foundations. Julian is drawn to the quiet writer, aware of an intensifying connection between them. Michael feels that same magnetic pull, but remains haunted by the past: they’ve been down this road before. Reaching the end of it broke Julian’s heart, something Michael will not let happen again. He strives to be the strong one, but with every passing night, he’s falling for Jim just as hard as Julian is.

Both men know Jim can only hurt them if they let him in. The trouble is, Jim might already be through that door. If he is, the day will come when he’ll walk right back out of it.

Only this time, how many hearts will be broken?

*The bears featured in this story are strictly of the human variety. Any resemblance to bear shifters – okay, they’re furry – is purely coincidental.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Bears in the Woods is a delicious romance by KC Wells. And yes, if you enjoy bears, you will enjoy this story.

This one involves Julian and Michael who are married, finding Jim and wanting him. Julian and Michael have always liked to play with a third, but with Jim, they end wanting to keep him.

The bears are older and are a great mix with the younger Jim. I adore everything about the relationship. It starts great, evolves naturally, and ends happily.

I love the author's writing as usual and I can always depend on getting a satisfying story from KC. Just don't expect a ton of sex in this one. It's there, but a lot of it is mentioned after the fact. But, what is there is hot, including a dp scene!

Add in the beautiful setting and it just gets better. The atmosphere surrounding the cabins is wonderfully illustrated and delightful to read.

Bears in the Woods is a great choice the next time you're in the mood for a feel good menage that starts with an established couple. This KC Wells  book is pure fun.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Little is the fifth book in Casey Cox's 99 Daddies series. It's easily read as a standalone. The men from the previous books are present, but the reader doesn't need their background to enjoy this one.

Nick and Steel are together, but are struggling with meeting their needs. Then there's Addison, who's getting too old to be a little, but desperately longs to find a daddy.

This one had me laughing from the start. I seriously love the light hearted humor.

And the sex. A hot, yet funny rimming scene? Yes please!

I  love everything about this book.

They have an interesting friendship, with Nick and Addison instantly knowing they are meant to be good friends.

Their story includes some adorable playdates, a strong connection, and an intense attraction. And, oh my, how I love those playdates. I love and adore the little time.

Of course, two of the three men have some major internal issues to deal with. Addison is insecure about his age, as his ex left him when he deemed him too old. And Steel is insecure about his ability to be a good Daddy. This makes for some good emotional growth throughout.

I love these guys and their story. A Daddy and his two boys. And a dream come true for Addison and Nick to have each gained a brother.

The writing is great, with interesting characters, and a unique storyline. Once again in this series, the author tackles a unique kind of Daddy relationship. This is all about forgetting the rules and doing what feels right.

Little is a fabulous menage romance. With a mix of heat and sweet, Casey Cox delights throughout. Oh, and the ending! Just perfect!

Three Shots: A MMF Small Town Poly Romance by Brigham Vaughn

Amazon Link  - Available in KU

A musician, a computer designer, and a tavern owner walk into a bar: it’ll take three shots to get this right …

When Reeve Jenkins picks up his guitar to sing at a local dive bar, the last thing he expects is to bring a guy home that night. Grant McGuire is a man drowning his sorrows in beer after a painful breakup. Having some fun in bed is easy for the two of them but while hookups are simple, pursing a relationship never feels quite right.

Rachael Bradford has seen plenty of attractive men walk into the Hawk Point Tavern but she’s too busy running the place to worry about taking any of them home.

The chemistry between them is off the characters but when Reeve and Grant offer her more than a quick fantasy, they’ll have to figure out how to navigate an openly poly relationship in the small town of Pendleton Bay.

Originally released in 2017, Three Shots has been re-written with an additional 40k words of content, set in the Pendleton Bay Universe, and re-edited.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Three Shots is a fantastic menage romance. This Brigham Vaughn MMF romance is a great mix of fun and heat.

Take note that this is a new, updated edition releasing in 2021. The reviews from 2017 need to be ignored. The author has revamped this story from a hot, short story, and added a whole lot of emotion, development, and charm to the original content.

This relationship is slow going, taking years to cement itself. Grant and Reeve have one hot night together, but Grant isn't looking for something serious. They definitely connect well and it's relaxing and hopeful.

And then there's Rachael. And hot damn, even her masturbation scene is smoking, as she dreams of two men taking her at once.

I enjoy the pace of this story. There are a lot of time jumps. Sometimes that can be annoying, but I really enjoyed it in this book.

The men slowly reconnect and definitely enjoy their time together. But they both know something is missing, keeping them from wanting more.

And then they meet Rachael. Woah. Cue the sexual tension. The chemistry is off the charts. And the three are wonderful together.

I love this story. The characters all truly complete one another. The bond of their relationship is solid and their chemistry is off the charts. And damn, the communication between all of them is stellar. You definitely don't need to worry about misunderstandings with these three.

The one thing I didn't love though is the missed on-page first dp scene. Omg, I wanted that so badly and was shocked it was off the page. That was disappointing.

But everything else is fabulous.

They face some narrow minded townsfolk, but damn, most of this small town is supportive and truly wonderful.

The writing style is great. Written in alternating povs, we get to know each character well. But, hot damn, it's the sex that's the big draw here. Let's be honest, MMF menages are hot, and the author never lets us down.

Three Shots is a must read to any fans of MMF romances.  Brigham Vaughn definitely delights in this poly romance. It's hot. It's sweet. And it's well worth a read when you're in the mood for some spicy fun.

Serve (White House Men #4) by Nora Phoenix

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Two stubborn alpha men meet the one boy who wants them both…

Denali knows what he wants. He loves his job in the Residence of the White House, but what he craves is serving. A Dom. Or in his case: two.

When tragedy strikes once again, Denali offers himself to Milan, the president’s brother in law. Milan accepts, but he insists Secret Service agent Asher joins them as well. Denali is more than fine with that. Two hot, dominant men is even better than one, right?

One encounter leads to more. Asher warns Denali that he can’t fall for Milan, that the tough, closed off Dom will break his heart. He’s learned that the hard way himself. But Denali knows no other way than to give himself completely, and he’s willing to deal with the consequences.

When Milan and Asher prove to be too stubborn to see the truth, it’s Denali who shows them that love is worth taking a risk for. But will it be enough to bring them together? And how will everyone heal and move on after the most devastating blow yet?

Serve is an MMM gay romance with an age gap, featuring a Dom, a switch, and a super sweet boy. It’s the fourth book in the White House Men series, a continuing MM romantic suspense series set in the White House that needs to be read in order. Serve ends with a happily ever after, but the suspense plot ends on a cliffhanger and will be continued in the rest of the series.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Serve, the fourth book in Nora Phoenix's White House Men is another fabulous political romance. And leave it to Nora to gift us with another of her sexy menage/poly romances! Ohhh, can't get enough of these beauties!

Milan, Asher, and Delani. 'Nuf said. Three men who all crave kink and have been denying themselves due to their jobs.

Asher and Milan have hooked up before, but they now find themselves hooking up again. They aren't perfect for each other though, as they've both dominant, so it's only circumstances that have them together.

And then there's Delani, who craves to serve. And for him, serving two men is better than one.

There's a slew of emotions going on in this tale. Milan is suffering after a tragedy. As a tough Dom, we get to see his sensitive side, as he needs the other two men to help him heal. I love the way the author carries this out. There's grief, healing, and plenty of sexual exploration. I love it all.

I love Ken, the president's son, and his relationship with Delani. The two grow closer together, and their conversations are great.

The BDSM scenes are hot, with different pairings as they're figuring everything out. Delani needs to learn how to be a sub, despite his natural tendencies, and Asher is there to teach him. Milan meanwhile is the sadist in the group. The chemistry between the men is awesome and the scenes between them are sizzling. The author certainly doesn't disappoint. Both the sex scenes and the emotions during them are wonderful.

And then there's the on going political issues. They continue to be fascinating and absolutely riveting. What a ride! Danger, murder, suspense, and political intrigue. In this book we get one step closer to learning who's behind everything. The author has created a fantastic, messy and tangled story, and I can't get enough of it.

Overall, Serve is a riveting continuation of this White House Men series. Nora Phoenix delights with this mix of sex, romance, and mystery. I couldn't put it down.

My Rating - Stars!

We Three is a hot bisexual menage erotic romance by Lara Zielinsky.

Again - this is erotica, so you get what you expect.

A club, swingers, and instant attraction, married couple Eric and Elena can't resist Jess.

The heat can be felt throughout, with a good storyline accompanying all the sex scenes. Of which there are many!

These three have amazing chemistry and are amazingly hot together. As well, there's some good character growth involved, as Jess ends up being just what Eric and Elena needed.

We Three is a great read for anyone in the mood for a steamy bisexual and poly read.

This Is Not the End by Sidney Bell

A Polyamorous Love Story

Zacary Trevor is the love of Anya Alexander’s life. Their sometimes tumultuous marriage has survived ups, downs, and all the in-betweens. With successful careers, a lovely home, and a beautiful child, domestic bliss is a hard-earned reality for two people whose hedonistic days are in the not-so-distant past. They’re happy. Enter Zac’s best friend, the deeply reserved Cal Keller.

Zac’s friendship with Cal is the foundation of his career and—until Anya and their son came along—the most important relationship of his life. Cal’s a cipher, someone Anya can’t help but gravitate to, even if they don’t always get along. Even more, she’s drawn to the Zac she sees when he’s with Cal—a careful, cautious version of her husband, someone with hidden thoughts and desires kept secret even from her. Inviting Cal into their home, deeper into their life, is a risk.

Zac should say no. He knows he should. But he doesn’t. From the first, the hint at the life the three of them could have together is exhilarating. And finding a new definition for family just might be worth the risk to every bond that exists between them.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

This is Not the End is great polyamorous MMF romance by Sidney Bell.

This is a tale of bandmates Zac and Cal. And Zac's wife Anya.

Zac and his wife Anya are players. With Zac's birthday approaching, she wants to do something special for him.

What follows is emotional and intense. And hot!

We get to follow along as they make their way through their feelings, conversations, first times, and the development into more. And I love it all!

Written in third person present tense, it's definitely not my favorite writing style. But the storyline and emotional are enough to overlook it.

This is Not the End is a fabulous MMF menage romance. Sidney Bell gave the readers everything we'd want in such a story. It's a riveting and beautiful tale of unconventional love.
