Will broken hearts replace the wedding they dreamed of?

Ryker's heart has space for three things—his family, hockey, and Jacob. As their wedding grows closer, it seems that nothing can stand in the way of an idyllic celebration, surrounded by friends and loved ones. But things appear to be changing; Jacob is forging a future that might take him away from Ryker, and Ryker alternates between pride and fear when a new man comes into his fiancĂ©'s life. A hockey season from hell has him doubting his life choices, but worse, he's driving Jacob into another man's arms. How has their perfect life suddenly gone so wrong?

Life has certainly thrown many twists and turns in Jacob's path. Most of the goals he’d set for himself as a teenager had to change, but one has remained constant: finding his heart's desire and marrying him. That aspiration was reached when Ryker said, "I do". Planning their wedding was meant to be the best time of their lives, but Jacob unwittingly puts his trust in the wrong man and finds himself in danger. Is their love strong enough to survive the fallout?

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Ohhhh...Valentine's Hearts is an amazing read. This RJ Scott and VL Locey tale takes us back to the lives of Ryker and Jacob, which all began in book one of the Owatonna U Hockey series, Ryker.

There's a wedding and tons of outside stress, resulting in a low point in their relationship. It's definitely a sad read, so be warned.

Ugh! Adam! Can I just punch Jacob's boss. He's definitely as bad as Ryker thinks he is. Actually, he's much worse, so be prepared. It's bad. Very bad.

What follows is a tale of recovery and justice, all while trying to deal with Jacob's mental issues after the incident. Honestly, I love the way the authors handle this. From the stigma of a large man not being able to be sexually assaulted, to the difference of a man being raped versus a woman, to everything dealt with in therapy and with the police.

Good god,  I just adore this couple. Everything about their story, from the start to the current, is just perfect!

And we get more Ten!!!  If I didn't love Ten enough, add in him holding baby Lottie!! Swoon!

If you enjoy tales of established couples, you will love Valentine's Heart. And if you love this whole hockey world by RJ Scott and VL Locey, this one will leave you swooning. Just like all the other books. I can't get enough of these books.

Intoxicating ( Elite Protection Services #1) by Onley James

Blurb

Lincoln Hudson has just been handed the easiest job in the world. Babysit the spoiled son of a conservative senator, keep him out of trouble, and receive a six-figure paycheck, a paycheck he desperately needs. Wyatt’s father claims he needs Linc’s firm hand and discipline. One look at him and Linc agrees. Wyatt needs discipline.

Being the closeted gay son of a family values senator has left Wyatt Edgeworth with a reckless streak and a love of partying that just cost him eight months of his life and might cost his father his re-election. So now he has a babysitter. A very sexy babysitter.

When Wyatt drunkenly tells Linc he’d make an excellent Daddy, they reach an understanding. Wyatt gets a Daddy and Linc gets a paycheck, then they go their separate ways. For this to work, discretion is key, but with a reporter dogging Wyatt’s every move, that might prove impossible.

Staying together was never an option, but with each passing day, their feelings only grow. Will they risk it all for what’s supposed to be a harmless fling?

Intoxicating is the first book in the Elite Protection Services Series and contains age-gap, Daddy-kink and BDSM elements complete with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

From the start, I was completely riveted by Onley James' Intoxicating. An amazing story of finding a purpose, I was intrigued throughout.

The prologue sets the reader off on an amazing journey, as Wyatt is instantly a sympathetic character. What follows only furthers our love of the troubled man.

With parents that don't care about him and in the political eye, Wyatt's drowning and has nothing to live for. Never been able to make a decision or care for himself, he doesn't know how to do the simplest of tasks. Let's just say that having a Daddy is exactly what he needs.

When Linc's hired to babysit Wyatt, everything changes, as the tough Linc not only recognizes Wyatt's need, but can also deliver. My heart warmed watching Wyatt find someone to not only protect him, but to also save and love him.

This Daddy romance is fast paced, riveting, and full of amazing characters. It's a wonderful storyline, with both main characters having heavy backgrounds. The author delves into the pain of PTDS, conversion therapy and sexual abuse.

I love Wyatt. He's a loveable yet broken man. But it's his skills with makeup that are truly extraordinary. I appreciate his thoughts about makeup, as it provides a mask to hide behind, and with makeup, anyone can be beautiful.

The Daddy play is perfectly done, just what both men need. Damn, these two are super steamy together. If you're looking for some hot scenes, you will not be disappointed.

Intoxicating is a story with a lot of meat, a lot of heart, and a lot of sex. I truly love this story of finding someone to trust. A gripping and emotional story, I can't wait for the next book in this Elite Protection Services series.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - Escaping Camp Roosevelt by Bryan T Clark

Length: 87,000 words approx.

Cover Design: Karrie Jax

Blurb

“He’s a bad boy—cocky and damaged. So, why can’t I stop thinking about him?"

Broken Dreams

Sociable and unselfish, eighteen-year-old Tucker Graves loves two things—his darling little sister and the thrill of playing baseball. He never dreamed that he’d be homeless, but after a series of misfortunes, his life is nothing like he could have possibly imagined. Shocked and shattered, Tucker, his mother, and his baby sister now must brave the dangers of a dilapidated homeless encampment called Camp Roosevelt.

A Wounded Heart

Homeless since the age of fourteen, Dancer has mastered the tricks of living on the streets as a sex worker. The quiet, reclusive, and calculating ways of this twenty-year-old, green-eyed Adonis help him to survive. He hides his emotional scars from the world by interacting only with his clients, whose occasional bizarre requests he reluctantly fulfills. Dancer’s past has taught him to trust no one.

A Second Chance

When Tucker and Dancer come face to face on a stormy night, having been thrown together under the same roof, Tucker brings out a feeling in Dancer that he didn’t know still existed in him—desire. Neither man can deny the attraction he feels for the other. But some scars run deep, causing both Tucker and Dancer to question whether falling in love is even possible, especially when survival is on the line.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Wow. Escaping Camp Roosevelt is so much more than I ever expected. Emotional and heart-breaking, Bryan T Clark grabbed my heart immediately with this amazing tale of forgiveness and moving forward.

A story of two homeless teens, with one who's caring for his sister, the author excels in his exploration of the struggle of being homeless. The isolation, the loneliness, the desire to trust no one, and the desire to remain alone. The hardships, the fear, the inability to get ahead in life.

Tucker and Dancer are two young men who I just want to hug and help. One's a victim of his mother's meth habit, the other a runaway after suffering sexual abuse. Both of their backstories are soul crushing. In addition, the author does a wonderful job of demonstrating the common need of homeless teens to become sex workers, as a way to just survive.

Tucker's seizures were a tough read for me, as I was heartbroken for the way he developed them, and his inability to get proper care for them.

Their story is one of getting to know someone and learning to trust them. The  attraction is strong, but they have many complications to overcome. It's a story of making amends, making tough decisions, and fighting for love. It's about overcoming one's past, letting go of fear, and finding the strength to love.

Escaping Camp Roosevelt is a superb story, full of all the feels, and will leave the reader falling in love with these two men. Bryan T Clark's tale of letting oneself live again is writing beautifully, both compelling and riveting. A tough, raw read, it has a happy ending.

REVIEW TOUR - Love is a Walk in the Park by VL Locey & Stephanie Locey

Pre-Order Links: Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Cover Design: Meredith Russell

Length: 50,000 words approx.

Blurb

Sullivan Haines knows exactly what he wants out of life. Fame as a Broadway dancer and to find the man of his dreams. Sadly, his love life is a dismal mess, his roommate is PMS personified, and working at a dingy dance studio teaching old people how to tango and foxtrot is not exactly the bright lights. Actually, life in the Big Apple is pretty rotten, until he and his dog run into tall, dark, and oh-so-handsome Duane Hart in the park. Their pooches hit it right off, but can the two men find romance along the park’s winding paths?

Duane Hart hasn’t had a lot go right in his life. His girlfriend recently broke up with him, taking everything that wasn’t nailed down or in his roommate’s name. Well, everything except the Yorkshire terrier that he didn’t want to get in the first place, and that she now refuses to take back. However, when he meets a handsome stranger and his pit bull in the dog park, will the blooming heat in his chest be able to convince him to start dating again? Or will fate prove love isn’t a walk in the park, after all?

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Love is a Walk in the Park is a sweet romance by VL Locey and Stephanie Locey.

Duane and Sullivan are just adorable together. They meet at a dog park and a sweet romance slowly evolves. The dogs are wonderful, of course, and just make me happy sigh.

Their story consists of coming out, sexual assault, and the struggle of trying to be a dancer on Broadway. It consists of facing one's fears, standing up for oneself, and overcoming a crappy breakup.

I love Sullivan. He's sassy and a whole lot of fun. I want a Sully in my life!

The sexual assault, and it's aftermath, are written in a fantastic manner, full of all the emotions. It's a tough read, so beware if sexual assault is a trigger for you.

Told in first person dual pov, I was delighted, as this is my favorite writing style. The readers are able to get into the mind of both main characters, seeing things from both pov as they develop. Love it! And even better yet are the many moments of humor.

Love is a Walk in the Park is an enchanting, adorable romance by VL Locey and Stephanie Locey. I enjoy the atmospheric insights into NYC, especially the subway, which is spot on accurate. Overall, it's a sweet and tender romance.

Review
My Rating - 5 Stars!

Forgive Me Father is a spectacular and riveting romance by TL Travis. It's so exciting to get Jamie's story, as we first met him in Greyson Fox.

From the start, this tale grabbed me and I couldn't put it down. It begins with Jamie being kicked out of his house. From there we get his awful time on the streets, where he sees drugs, death, and way more than a kid his age should see. As he gets desperate, he is stuck doing things he doesn't want to do. This whole part is so damn heart-breaking. Jamie is a loveable young man and I just wanted to save him myself and wrap him up in hugs.

What follows in an extraordinary story of Jamie finding love with Butch, and making a family by choice. It is beautiful to see Jamie able to be himself, dress as he wants, as he's finally free to make his own choices. And, let's not forget that Jamie likes lace!

Throughout all the heart-breaking tears and the happy tears, we witness Jamie flourishing and finding himself. It is emotional throughout, but rewarding as Jamie finds love and stability.

Somehow, TL Travis  manages to span a large amount of time, more than 20 years, with  flawless flow. It never feels jumpy and is an amazing and rewarding journey. She writes with a great amount of heart and an endless amount of love. Jamie and Butch's story is full of hurt, pain, and salvation. It is superb.

And, if you've read Greyson Fox, you will be thrilled, and yet saddened to read more about Marcus and Daniel. This part is so damn well written and completely and utterly pulls at your heartstrings.

Forgive Me Father is an accomplished romance of finding your way, finding your version of family, and putting the past behind yourself.  It will not disappoint.
