Fake It 'til You Make Out (Love & Luck #1) by Isla Olsen

Amazon Link - Available in KU

Blurb

Heath

It’s a classic story: Boy meets girl, girl breaks boy’s heart, boy pretends to be gay to get back at girl, girl outs boy to everyone on Facebook…

Okay, maybe it’s not that classic. But it’s what happened to me.

When I bump into my cheating ex and catch sight of the moon-sized rock on her finger, there’s only one option to save face: pretend to be dating my gay best friend, Declan.

And when she outs me on Facebook and everyone I know sees it, there’s still only one option: keep pretending to be dating Declan.

And when Declan and I have to kiss to keep up the ruse and it turns out there’s actually a spark between us (more like a blazing inferno, if truth be told) there’s once again only one option…

Warning: this book is not appropriate for anyone who doesn’t like laughing, anyone who doesn’t like dogs, or anyone who doesn’t like hot men having a lot of sex…with each other.

Wow, Fake It 'til You Make Out is a delightful friends to lovers romance by Isla Olsen.

Everything starts with Heath trying to save face in front of his ex girlfriend. After that, it all takes off to be a super fun fake romance as the once straight Heath is suddenly falling for his best friend.

Declan and Heath are best friends who are witty and not one bit shy about faking this new relationship. One of the best parts is that neither of them were into each other previously. The gay Declan was never pinning for Heath, which is a nice twist on a lot of friends to lovers stories.

The writing is fabulous, with charming characters and lots of witty dialogue. The storyline is a comedy of errors, leading to an amazing gay for you tale. It's completely hilarious, leaving me at a loss to pick a best moment. Seriously, it's one laugh after another.

The Kelly family is amazing! I love them all with their family group chat leaving me in stiches. Hopefully we'll get to read more about them in the upcoming books.

Fake It 'til You Make Out is a must read for anyone you enjoys a great friends to lovers comedic romance. Isla Olsen will have you smiling and laughing throughout this sweet, fluffy story.

Holiday Fling by Crystal Lacy

Blurb

All Jake has to do is remember it's a fling.

During my flight to Honolulu, the sexy guy on the next seat drunkenly admits his bi-curiosity. Naturally, I don't hesitate to volunteer as tribute to be his first kiss. He politely declines, but then we run into each other in the hotel bar.

Thus begins a hot holiday fling with Bennett. Bennett's on the rebound and I've never had a serious relationship. This thing between us can only be casual. But just because this is temporary doesn't mean I can't help salvage what's left of Bennett's Christmas.

If only I didn't have to keep reminding myself not to catch feelings.
A sweet and sizzling-hot holiday vacation romance set in Honolulu, Hawaii.

My Rating - 4.5 Stars!

Holiday Fling is a fun and flirty bi-curious Christmas romance by Crystal Lacy.

It's the story of a holiday fling that results in the love of a lifetime. It starts with a drunken plane ride and an almost kiss as Jake and Bennett meet on a plane. With a little bit of bravery, they start up a holiday fling.

Their story includes a bi-curious man, a closeted man, 1st times, and coming out. Jake and Bennett make a great couple, both likeable and easy to root for.

The author has mastered writing in present tense. Although this is usually very awkward to me, her writing is seamless, with me barely noticing it's tense.

Holiday Fling is fantastic tale of finding true love in a partner who's thoughtful, supportive, and encouraging. It's a feel-good and steamy vacation romance. And omg, the epilogue is awesome!

REVIEW TOUR - Love is a Walk in the Park by VL Locey & Stephanie Locey

Pre-Order Links: Amazon US | Amazon UK | Universal Link

Cover Design: Meredith Russell

Length: 50,000 words approx.

Blurb

Sullivan Haines knows exactly what he wants out of life. Fame as a Broadway dancer and to find the man of his dreams. Sadly, his love life is a dismal mess, his roommate is PMS personified, and working at a dingy dance studio teaching old people how to tango and foxtrot is not exactly the bright lights. Actually, life in the Big Apple is pretty rotten, until he and his dog run into tall, dark, and oh-so-handsome Duane Hart in the park. Their pooches hit it right off, but can the two men find romance along the park’s winding paths?

Duane Hart hasn’t had a lot go right in his life. His girlfriend recently broke up with him, taking everything that wasn’t nailed down or in his roommate’s name. Well, everything except the Yorkshire terrier that he didn’t want to get in the first place, and that she now refuses to take back. However, when he meets a handsome stranger and his pit bull in the dog park, will the blooming heat in his chest be able to convince him to start dating again? Or will fate prove love isn’t a walk in the park, after all?

Love is a Walk in the Park is a sweet romance by VL Locey and Stephanie Locey.

Duane and Sullivan are just adorable together. They meet at a dog park and a sweet romance slowly evolves. The dogs are wonderful, of course, and just make me happy sigh.

Their story consists of coming out, sexual assault, and the struggle of trying to be a dancer on Broadway. It consists of facing one's fears, standing up for oneself, and overcoming a crappy breakup.

I love Sullivan. He's sassy and a whole lot of fun. I want a Sully in my life!

The sexual assault, and it's aftermath, are written in a fantastic manner, full of all the emotions. It's a tough read, so beware if sexual assault is a trigger for you.

Told in first person dual pov, I was delighted, as this is my favorite writing style. The readers are able to get into the mind of both main characters, seeing things from both pov as they develop. Love it! And even better yet are the many moments of humor.

Love is a Walk in the Park is an enchanting, adorable romance by VL Locey and Stephanie Locey. I enjoy the atmospheric insights into NYC, especially the subway, which is spot on accurate. Overall, it's a sweet and tender romance.

The Proposal: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Ivy Oliver

Blurb

We've been friends as long as I remember, but we might be more.
I was there when my best friend proposed to someone else. Just like I'd been there for house-moving and cat-sitting, for parties and vacations and nights out. I was always the guy behind the camera snapping vacation photos for Daniel and his girlfriend, Megan. They were happy, and it made me happy. After all, I set them up. So of course I was there the night he planned to propose to her. It was all picture perfect except for one detail:

She said no.

So with plane tickets and hotel rooms booked for a post-proposal getaway, what was he to do? Go anyway and get his mojo back, and of course he invited me to tag along. What could be better than a week in paradise secretly lusting over my best friend, unable to tear my eyes from his glorious body, resisting the urge to throw myself at him? Every time he looked at me that little thrill I felt was almost worth it.

Just two guys having a good time to move past a bad night, right? That's what it was going to be, until we hit the bars the night before, and he asked me to stay over the night before our flight.

That's what it was before he kissed me.

Now we don't have to find trouble in paradise. It followed us. Will lust grow into love or just become another fading memory?

The Proposal is a fifty thousand word friends to lovers romantic comedy with an HEA!

The Proposal is a fun, quick friends to lovers romance by Ivy Oliver.

Chris and Daniel are best friends, along with Daniel's girlfriend, Megan. But when Daniel proposes to Megan, everything changes. Megan says no, and Daniel and Chris go on the honeymoon.

Soon the two guys are hooking up and it's a fun first time with a guy for Daniel. If they want more, they have a few things to deal with first, like Megan and some complications.

Their story is entertaining, flows well, and is a great way to spend a little time. I like Chris and Daniel as a couple, as adding sex to their relationship just makes things better. The little things that keep getting in their way are entertaining and enjoyable.

If you like friends to lovers, you'll enjoy The Proposal.

Tuck & Josh by Kiska Gray

Blurb

It's simple. I have two goals for my freshman year of college.
Goal #1 - Lose my virginity before my 20th birthday.
Goal #2 - Get over my hopeless crush on my roommate.
Should be a piece of cake, right? But when it comes to Tucker Caine, the possible suddenly seems impossible.

Tuck & Josh is a 56,000 word MM contemporary romance. Set in the same "universe" as the Sheltered Hearts series, it has a guaranteed HEA, with no cheating or cliffhangers.

Tuck and Josh is a fun friends to lovers romance by Kiska Gray.

The two young men are college roommates. Josh has long had a crush on Tuck, who he assumed was straight as he has always had a girlfriend.

As Josh finds out otherwise, there's a whole lot of fun moments, as well as some hot ones. I found the way that Tuck's feelings are revealed to be a whole lot of fun.

I found all of Tuck & Josh to be enjoyable. It's sweet, cute, and the chemistry between the roommates is great.

Kissing Our Loves (Valentine’s Inc. #6) by Sammi Cee

Blurb

Valentine's Inc. Book 6.

Clark ~ I wouldn’t change anything about my life. Adopting the child my sister gave birth to is the best decision I ever made. For all of us. Choosing to work for myself so that I can be an active part of his life—a no brainer. After four years, though, my friends may be right. It’s time to at least date if my crush on the dad, the off-limits man wearing the wedding band, at my son’s preschool is any indication.

Bailey ~ Life hasn’t gone exactly as planned with my fiancé dying before we ever had a chance to get married. My days are filled with client requests and spreadsheets, but I’ll never take for granted how fortunate I am to work from home and be here for my daughter. Pursuing the dream to have a child, even if alone, is more fulfilling than I’d ever dreamed possible. Our little life seemed like enough until recently when I witnessed my high school sweetheart, Vaughn, falling in love and finally getting his happily ever after. Maybe he’s right, maybe it’s time to take off the ring and date again.

When two men take the plunge and sign up with Valentine’s Inc., is it possible they can find a love match on the first try? And if they do, can insta-love withstand the pressure of real life when two automatically means four?

Kissing Our Loves, part of the Valentine's Inc series, is a cute and fun romance by Sammi Cee.

Do you like sex scenes? This one starts with a semi-hot scene. (You'll see what I mean.) And, seriously, how much better does it get than a guy talking to his dick? I love that kind of humor.

Clark and Bailey meet through their 4 year olds, who are best friends, and it's perfectly developed. I absolutely love both the kids. Sidney is Bailey's daughter, and Todd is Clark's nephew, who he's raising. Todd's special needs are so well written, with such understanding and care.

Everything happens fast, as they immediately click. I truly enjoyed every second of this book. The humor is fantastic, as the kids are adorable. "Daddy, you're silly, you're always staring at him. You must really like his clothes."

Kissing Our Loves is amazingly entertaining, and I will definitely be adding it to my re-read list! It's tender, it's serious, it's cute, it's humorous, and more. It's definitely a light story, but it's enjoyable and adorable.
