Free Me (Tattoos and Temptation #3) by Mia Monroe

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Only his ropes can unravel the past.

I never thought I’d see him again, but when my former best friend shows up ready to make amends, it becomes clear just how tied to the past I am. He disappeared when I needed him the most, leaving me to navigate my truth alone. Now he’s back.

Nixon’s art leaves me vulnerable, defenseless, and I like it. Bound by desire and past hurts, giving him complete control might be exactly what I need to set me free.

What neither of us expected? The ropes free him too…

Free Me is a sensual second chance, former friends to lovers, bisexual awakening story featuring Shibari. It is book three in the Tattoos and Temptation series featuring hot Miami nights, Latin desserts, and guys with ink. It can be read as a standalone.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

Good God, I love Mia Monroe's Free Me! The third book in the Tattoos and Temptation series, it is awesome!

This is a kinky second chance romance for Tate and Nixon. And omg, it is hot! Nixon's an experienced Shibari master who not only practices the art form, but also demonstrates it.

Adding to the fun, Nixon has never been with a guy before. Cue his bisexual awakening when he sees Tate strung up in the ropes.

Omg, the writing is fabulous. I could see Tate in the ropes. I could see the bulge outlined in his tights. I could feel the pressure of the ropes. I could feel the way the ropes freed Tate. And I could feel the way this turned on Nixon.

Good god, seriously, every single moment is brought to life. The scenes are as sensual as can be, and dear god, the romance between the two is stunning. This is a story that oozes pain, hurt, and the rebuilding of trust. I love it all!

Free Me is a sexy friends to lovers romance that is a must read for anyone looking for a romance with Shibari. Mia Monroe adds many layers to this tale. It is by far my favorite of this series.

Healing Him, a fun BDSM romance, is the second book in the Bromley Brothers series by Laura N Andrews.

Ryan and Henry make for an entertaining couple. Henry's a Dom who takes an instant liking to Ryan. It's sad from the start that Ryan's nervous and can't trust, after obviously being hurt in the past.

They have an immediate connection and things heat up fast. They have such a strong connection that Henry has to have Ryan even if he's not allowed to dominate. I love that Henry enjoys having Ryan on top of him, despite being the dom. It's a fun and refreshing twist.

Their story is a great tale of wanting to submit, but fearing it; of healing and allowing someone to dominate you again. And in the meanwhile, finding love. It's fast paced, steamy, and a lot of fun. It's also serious as Ryan has both physical and emotional scars.

Seriously though, it doesn't get much hotter than a dom willing to bottom, and the feelings this evokes. Their emotional connection is amazing and they make for a wonderful couple. I love the way they both help each other along the way.

One of my favorite parts is the term of endearment Henry uses for Ryan, calling him "pup." Henry's loving, caring, and supportive, and finds hope and the desire to heal.

It's low angst, as it tells a nice, pleasant, feel good story. It's impressive that such a serious topic can be discussed while being light hearted in general. Most abuse stories aren't described as sweet.

I definitely recommend Healing Him, as it perfectly captures the trust and emotions involved in a healthy BDSM relationship.
I'm hoping there's many more books in this series.

Sins of Omission (Sub Mission #2) by T.S. McKinney

Blurb

Ari’s heart was broken three years ago when the love of his life rejected him. Eli may have had his reasons—they may have even been good ones, but now he’s shown back up in Ari’s life, making outrageous claims on him and all Ari wants to do is run. Unfortunately, he flees right into the arms of some would-be kidnappers and has to rely on Eli to save him. Despite his father’s and his agency’s fears for Ari’s safety, he insists on going on with his life, which includes an upcoming vacation and not giving in to fears for his safety. The only problem is the agency wants to send Eli along with him as an all too willing bodyguard. This is so not what Ari had in mind when he signed up for a gay cruise!

Eli has been in love with Ari for years and has just been waiting for him to be old enough to be claimed. He’s waited as long as he can and he’s not willing to wait a second longer. Now if he can just convince Ari to let him back into his life, and if he can just hide his deepest desires from Ari so he won’t frighten him away, this just might work out. Eli quickly awakens a passion in Ari that neither of them ever knew existed, an undeniable attraction that could match his own hidden needs. Add in a hot Caribbean cruise, pink lace, ropes, romance and even another kidnapping attempt, and it’s a recipe for a sexy adventure that just might bring them both everything their hearts desire.

TS McKinney's second book in her Sub Mission series, Sins Of Omission, is fantastic. It's a BDSM and second chance romance, with some danger thrown into the mix.

Ari and Eli were together in college, but Eli walked away without a good explanation. When he discovered that Ari was brilliant and in college, but not even 18, he had to leave. Three years later, he is back, as Ari's turning 20 and he figures he's waited long enough.

I absolutely love both men. Eli's hot, with muscles and tattoos, and he's intense in his want, need, and possessiveness of Ari. It's quite the turn-on. Ari's the gifted one, who's always been with people older than him, and has never quite fit in with people.

The way the BDSM is written in this story is a whole lot of fun. It's a slow process to get them where they are comfortable with shibari, and it's a fun ride.

As usual TS McKinney's writing is wonderful, with great characters, a fun storyline, and terrific pace.

Sins Of Omission is beautiful story of secrets, explanations, forgiveness, and understanding. It ends with a hangover of sorts. This part of the story is over, but the overall tale leads into the next book. Can't wait!

Unraveled (Heathens Ink #5) by K.M. Neuhold

Blurb

Clay:
My mind and body are full of chaos; the only time I can truly feel free is when my hands, arms, and legs are secured. Just because I want to be bound, able to give over my pleasure entirely to another person, doesn’t mean I want to be controlled, humiliated, or made to endure pain. I’m a successful, happy, confident adult man who wants a lover to tie him up. Why is that so scandalous? And why is it so difficult to find? It doesn’t help that I’ve developed a hopeless crush on my straight roommate. Maybe a fulfilling relationship isn’t in the cards for me.

Max:
I’m completely out of control of my life. My ex is trying to take my daughter away from me... again, my dream of owning my own motorcycle repair shop seems out of reach, and somehow, I find myself a thirty-two-year-old man who can’t afford to have a place without a roommate. So, it’s no huge surprise that the idea of being given complete control over someone’s body and pleasure is a major turn-on. I never had any inkling I might be into guys, until my best friend told me he likes to be tied up. Now I’m losing sleep, imagining him bound and begging for me. I can’t figure out if it’s just the kink or if it’s possible I’m falling for him.

With Unraveled, the fifth book in the Heathens Ink series,  KM Neuhold has managed to completely wow me with a heartfelt journey of love.

Clay and Max have been roommates but suddenly their relationship is starting to change. Both men are absolutely amazing and they compliment each other so much. I love them together, as they truly are meant to be together.

Clay's sexual situation is developed in a beautiful manner. He's an anxious guy who needs to be restrained during sex. He struggles to find someone compatible with him, as he needs restraint, but doesn't want pain. It's tough to find someone he can trust.

Max is the perfect guy for Clay, and Clay has long wanted to be with him, but Max has always been straight.

I love their relationship. They've been living together, with Clay helping to raise Max's daughter. It totally melts my heart the way that Clay is like another dad before they even start getting together.

There are so many aspects to this story. They have to deal with Max's ex wanting to move away with their daughter. They have to deal with Max's sexual awakening. And they will have to deal with Clay's anxiety and insecurities. They will have to fight to figure out a way to make their relationship last.

It's a truly tender and sweet friends to lovers romance. Their sex scenes are exquisite, as they already know and love each other as friends, and just want to give the other what they need.

One of my favorite scenes is the emotion Max conveys about the importance of Clay's ropes and how much they mean to him. Swoon.

As well, all the rope scenes are just spectacular, as they're emotional and sensual. The rope truly serves to create an even stronger connection between  the men.

Unraveled is completely beautiful and left me so damn happy. KM Neuhold manages to capture a special tale of two men finding the strength and courage to face their fears, resulting in finding love. It's a spectacular story of finding love and holding onto it despite obstacles.

AM Arthur once again creates a winner with Roped In, Book 2 in the Clean Slate Ranch Series.

Roped In is a wonderful 2nd Chance romance, full of some great BDSM scenes, and some serious issues.

At the beginning, Colt is in a rough place, having just confessed his secret to Mack, and wanting to run from the ranch. He also runs into Avery again and is even more unsure of himself.

Through some fantastic flashbacks, we learn about Colt and Avery's history. They had first met just for BDSM scenes, and then fell in love and became more. Their relationship fell apart though, due to Colt's guilt and Avery's frequent absences.

The BDSM scenes are written perfectly, with so much going into the emotions and needs of the scenes. I absolutely love how well these scenes are done, with Colt gaining so much from submission. Avery is a master at knowing Colt needs and limits and is the perfect Dom for him. This part of their relationship is beautiful.

Colt and Avery are so good together and their second chance will help them both immensely. Both have family issues, as well as insecurities that the other can help with.

I am thrilled with Roped In and can't wait to dive into the next book in the series when it's released!
