Waiting for Them (Little Hollow #1) by Alie Nolan

Amazon Link - Available in KU
Goodreads Link

Blurb

Matty isn’t truly over his first love, even ten years later. Caleb, the boy who stole his heart when he was a teenager, and then disappeared in the middle of the night. Over the years, Matty has imagined seeing Caleb again, but his fantasy reunion doesn’t quite go to plan when he turns up at Caleb’s bakery and meets Caleb’s husband, Elliott.

Elliott is thrilled Caleb is finally getting the opportunity to reunite with the family he walked away from a decade ago. He has always known deep down Caleb’s ex, Matty, and his lost-lost family would find him one day, but nothing could have prepared him for developing feelings for his husband’s ex-boyfriend.

Caleb has never dreamed that he’ll get a second chance with the family that once adopted him, so now that he has, he doesn’t want to risk losing them a second time. Although, when a relationship begins to form between Elliott, Matty, and him, it seems like it can only go one of two ways—he could lose everyone all over again, or finally get everything he’s ever wanted.

Waiting for Them is a 56K word MMM romance that includes second chances, a lost-long family, a small town, and cute animals.

This is the first book in the Little Hollow series, but can be read as a standalone.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

From the start, Waiting For Them, grabbed onto me and didn't let me go. This Alie Nolan read is one I had to devour in one sitting. There simply was no other choice.

Damn, it's tough to even explain how much I love this book. Not only is the developing relationship between the three men spectacular, but the relationship between brothers Caleb and Jake is beautiful. Honestly, the whole family aspect is amazing.

A story years in the making, Caleb is reunited with his younger brother Jake and his ex boyfriend Matty.  Caleb left years ago, all to protect both Jake and Matty. Now, all these years later, Caleb is married to Elliott when Jake and Matty find him.

Cue the intense attraction, longing, and hotness.

Caleb and Elliott are fantastic together. The strength of their relationship is never in doubt. Both men are both attracted to Matty though. And since Matty never stopped loving Caleb, well... Holy Hotness!

I love everything about this story. The author excels in capturing the intensity of each moment, as well as the importance of each moment. Basically, every single bit of this story and the writing are perfectly addictive. Each of the men are well developed and extremely well explored.

If you enjoy polyamory, READ this book! Alie Nolan's Waiting For Them is emotional, beautiful, steamy, romantic and 100% satisfactory. I will definitely be re-reading this gem and can't wait to see what happens next in this small town series.

Being Enough (Portland Piranhas #2) by Alie Nolan

Blurb

Eli has been looking forward to his yearly trip to Camp Lost Lake—a sports camp for underprivileged kids—all season. He is more than ready for a month-long break from his offensive coordinator responsibilities. Until a public fight with the Piranhas' star tight end, Colton Roth, and the subsequent media fallout, results in the pair being forced to spend the summer at Camp Lost Lake together.

Colton is almost as good at antagonizing Coach Conley as he is at playing football, but as usual, his behavior has landed him in hot water. Now, his position with the Piranhas is on the line, and he must stay away from any potentially scandalous situations. Trying to stay on his best behavior doesn’t last long though, and after hooking up with Coach Conley, it looks like Colton might have put the final nail in his career’s coffin.

Can Colton and Eli survive an entire month in the middle of nowhere together? And will either of them still have their careers intact after the summer is over?

This is the second book in the Portland Piranhas series, but can be read as a standalone.

My Rating - 4 Stars!

Being Enough, the second book in the Portland Piranhas series, is a riveting enemies to Lovers romance.

Taking place at a summer camp, it's a combination of forced proximity, hooking up, friends with benefits, and more. It's a coach/player romance, as Eli and Colton manage to mend their differences and give into some hate sex. I highly enjoy their story.

The writing is great, entertaining, fluid, and quick paced. Told in alternating 1st person pov, the author grabs the reader and fully pulls them into the animosity between the two, and then treats us to their change of feelings in a successful manner.

Being Enough is a story of two athletes falling in love, but their tale takes place mostly outside of the game. If you're a sports romance fan though, there's plenty to keep you satisfied.

His Favorite Player (Portland Piranhas #1) by Alie Nolan

Blurb

Ryan has been living a lie his entire life in fear of losing his NFL career, because of who he is behind the lie. Football is all he’s ever wanted, the thing he loves most in the world—until he meets a gorgeous man in a bar, with bleached-blond hair, a sexy British accent, and a Piranhas hat, who changes everything.

Alec doesn’t understand American football—why would he? The cute stranger in the bar doesn’t need to know that though. What starts as a simple white lie about his favorite NFL player, turns into so much more.

Living in a new city, thousands of miles from his home town, the last thing Alec expects is to be swept up into a secret romance with one of the Portland Piranhas’ biggest stars, but is falling in love enough for Ryan to risk losing his career by coming out? Is it enough for Alec to go back in the closet until Ryan retires?

This is the first book in the Portland Piranhas series, but can be read as a standalone.

My Rating - 5 Stars!

I was so damn excited about this Portland Piranhas series by Alie Nolan. The first book, His Favorite Player, hooked me from the start and I couldn't put it down.

It has athletes, regular folk, and just a small amount of sports moments. I love it. Absolutely love it.

It starts in a fun way, as Alec doesn't know who Ryan is when they meet. Ryan's a closeted NFL player who's too afraid to ever even hook up, but he's super intrigued by the makeup wearing Alec.

The tale is full of romance, as Ryan struggles with his fear of coming out. It's definitely full of some heat and spice, as the two start getting involved. They are wonderful together, naturally fitting into one another's lives, and the sex just makes it better.

One of my favorite storylines is that of a closeted athlete struggling with coming out. This book is just that. There's angst, but it's only a little. I never felt heartbroken by their struggles, but I was definitely rivited by them.

The writing is fantastic, as the author manages to capture the readers' attention despite it being a shorter story with only a little character development. That slight development is more than enough to please the reader, keeping them invested in the relationship. Told in alternating 1st person pov, I was hooked.

I can't recommend His Favorite Player enough. It's perfect when you're in the mood for a fun, fast-paced sports romance. And now I am super excited to read about more of the team's players!

Stocking Stuffers - An MM Holiday Romance Anthology - by Various Authors

Stocking Stuffers
An MM Holiday Romance Anthology
with stories by
H Q Kingsley, Meredith Spies, Angelo Diaz, Denise Wells,
Megs Pritchard, J.P. Sayle, Colette Davison, Alie Nolan
An MM holiday romance anthology. A collection of sweet, sexy, fun holiday stories from MM authors.

Fix Me Up by H.Q. Kingsley
Nettles Small and Ian Montgomery were best friends once upon a time…

Nettles Small has retreated to his old family cabin, isolated in the woods for the peace and quiet he needs to write his dissertation. He expects a full two weeks of absolutely no disruptions as he buries
himself in research and lab experiments. But when an outdoor experiment goes haywire and his equipment explodes across the mountain, knocking an unsanctioned snowboarder off his board, his
plans quickly change.

Ian Montgomery is on his way to the winter olympics. he’s trained his ass off for years and finally made it. But on his way to shred down one of his secret slopes, Ian is unexpectedly knocked off his board by an unknown object and the person who rushes to nurse him back to his feet is someone he had never expected to see again.

Jingle My Bells by Meredith Spies

Rowan
Less than two weeks till the winter solstice and somehow it's my fault the witches have misplaced their damned bells. If they weren't such jerks about demon-borns being part of the Grand Council and their plans, maybe they wouldn't need to use the stupid things anyway. But until they're ready to admit that without us, there'd be no them, I guess they're out of luck. It's just dirty pool to send Whitaker Frost, scion of the Frost witch clan and sexiest man alive ohmygods to my shop when I've been accused of hiding those damned bells and endangering the witches' annual winter solstice ritual to maintain their powers.

Whitaker
No matter what Rowan thinks, I haven't forgotten our encounter at the summer solstice, and I know for a fact he hasn't. The way he looks at me when he sees me in his shop just before the winter solstice is enough to set me on fire without the help of any of his demon magic. I don't blame him for being hesitant with me—I am a witch, after all, and witches have been doing their damnedest for centuries to keep demon-born out of magical communities and gatherings. I wish he'd understand that I not only want him in the council, but in my bed, my life...

Jake's Heart for Christmas by Angelo Diaz

Two online friends meeting up for an unforgettable Christmas vacation.

After facing some trouble back home, Declan was more than eager to spend Christmas with his online best friend, Jake, in his hometown of Winterwood. It was everything he’d hoped it would be. The town was friendly, Jake was a ray of sunshine, and the spirit of Christmas was in every corner. What he didn’t expect was the growing connection between him and Jake. The more time Declan spent with Jake, the more the line between friendship and something more started to blur. Maybe
the trip to Winterwood was exactly what Declan needed to find himself again. Now, all he wanted for Christmas was to win over Jake’s heart.

Jake’s Heart For Christmas is a sweet and spicy Hallmark-style Christmas romance featuring best friends becoming lovers, sexual awakening, first times, hot kiss under the mistletoe, and a happy
ending!

Rebel Without A Clause by Denise Wells

I’m the guy who never brings a date to a holiday party. But meeting someone at one is a
different story, apparently. The bartender I undressed with my eyes? Whose touch ignited a fire in my soul when his fingers brushed against mine? He’s the one I’m prepared to break all my own rules
for.

All Wrapped Up by Megs Pritchard

Crispin Jones had known Roan virtually his whole life, but when his disastrous marriage ended, he began to see Roan in a new light. He wasn’t simply his friend anymore. His feelings had changed to
something more.
Christmas was approaching and Crispin had decided that it was the time to tell Roan the truth. The office party seemed the perfect opportunity.
Would Roan accept his declarations of love, or would Crispin’s admission ruin years of friendship between them?

A Christmas Wish by JP Sayle
Can Christmas wishes come true?
Roman Austin is shy, more than a little geeky, and thinks he’s overweight. Past experience has taught him that he’s better off with his nose buried in a book.
Until the boy who left town years ago returns.
Donavan’s return makes Roman face what he’s avoided for years, himself.  With each new revelation, can Roman see what is right in front of him?
Will past secrets and a meddling brother stop Roman from finding love with the one man he never knew wanted him?
A Christmas Wish is a standalone sweet gay romance, a small-town friendship, and a guaranteed HFN.

One Room at the Inn by Colette Davison
Travel photographer, Ellis, is driving home for Christmas, but a freak snowstorm forces him to seek refuge in the Holiday Inn. He doesn’t expect to meet his two best friends from high school there, or to end up having to share a room with them.

Although eight years apart has changed them all, Ellis realises he still has strong feelings for fit footballer, Zev, and loveable geek, PK.

A game of Never Have I Ever and a bottle of Applejack bourbon leads to revelations about their feelings for one another.

Can anything be the same for these three men after an unexpected night of passion?

One Room at the Inn is a friends to lovers, MMM Christmas romance, with steamy scenes and lots of snow.

Until After Christmas by Alie Nolan

Henry isn't a fan of Christmas and usually spends the holiday alone, wallowing in self-pity. Until he gets drunk with his adorable, awkward co-worker at the office Christmas party and somehow finds
himself with Christmas plans for the first time in years.

Callum is tired of his family setting him up with random strangers at Christmas, so when Henry offers to pretend to be his boyfriend for the holiday, it seems like he's found the perfect solution... until
real feelings get mixed up into their fake relationship.

Review
My Rating - 3.5 Stars!

With eight separate holiday romances, Stocking Stuffers is a good holiday anthology. From the first story, to the last, we get a great variety of stories.

I love Fix Me Up, in which Nettles and Ian, former best friends, are reunited through a mistake. Their story is totally sappy, sweet, and will give you all the holiday feels. There's snow, Christmas trees, and family fun.

In Jake's Heart For Christmas, two online best friends meet up and the sparks fly. This one is a mix of GFY, friends to lovers, and some sweet first time kisses and more.

In some of the other stories, we get an insta-love romance between two complete opposites, a sweet menage romance, and more. The writing is great as we get a super fun friends to lovers tale, plenty of spicy first times, and romantic Christmas romances.

Not every story is my kind of read, so I skipped a few, but Stocking Stuffers has something for everyone.
