That Summer in Spain is a great romance by Lawrence I Hill. 

Xavier and Dennis are two actors who are off to Spain for the summer to work on a movie. One's openly gay, the other has a girlfriend. Playing lovers onscreen soon starts to blur the lines between these co-stars. 

At the start, the reader learns of their sexual relationship, as well as the feelings that have evolved. I absolutely love the way it begins. And then it gets even better. Their chemistry is intense, and the development of their relationship is riveting. 

The writing is great, extremely emotional, fully pulling the reader into the emotions, including pain, hurt and intense need. 

Please take note of the warning however that the whole story is based on an affair. Avoid this book if that is a hard limit for you. 

That Summer in Spain is a wonderful story of finding what love really is. I definitely love this story.

If you've read VL Locey's Point Shot Trilogy, this is a must read. More Dan and Vic!!!  

Dan and Vic are married, and this one beauty starts off with some more sex. Yay! There's some good tension as an ex is in town, leading to some jealousy and doubts. And they have to deal with all his family issues, as his dad shows up. 

I continue to be impressed with how the author handles Heather and Jack. She is nothing like I expected, and Jack is the cutest and sweetest kid ever. 


This book, heck the entire series, is everything I love about VL Locey. The characters are deep, snarky, and full of love for one another. And there's hockey player!

In this one, the lack of understanding about bisexuality is well handled, with humor, charm, and absolute directness. In fact, the things that come out of Vic's mouth about his sexuality is fantastic, as he doesn't hold back at all. What he's thinking is what he says.

Oh, and yes, Dan and Vic continue to be super steamy together. 

The writing, in alternating 1st person pov, works superbly, allowing the reader to fully understand the men and their internal issues.

I can't recommend Coach's Challenge enough! VL Locey doesn't disappoint.

Wow, I fell hook, line, and sinker into this book. The Night, the fifth book in May Archer's Love in O'Leary series, is one of those special books that leaves a lasting impression. 

I adore these two complex characters. Liam and Gideon are two men who had a hot and heavy weekend in Las Vegas that ended up in marriage. Now, it's been five years since they've seen one another, and they have their second chance.

And I love every minute of it.

Gideon's such a curmudgeon, and I loved it. I couldn't get enough of him. His reasons for this aspect of his personality are well developed and pulled at my heartstrings. Despite the angst involved when Liam comes asking for a divorce, the story isn't nearly as heavy on the angst as it could have been. The author wonderfully included enough charm, wit, and love into the story to help tone down the angst factor.

And then there's Hazel who may just be the cutest little girl ever. The author truly created a fantastic and entertaining child. I hope we see more of Hazel in the future. 

Despite there being anger in spades, the chemistry is still strong and the attraction is still there. What follows is some great heat and passion, as they are stuck together for a short bit. 

My favorite part of this story has to be the meddling townsfolk though. They have the best of intentions and all work together in their efforts. It is spectacular and full of humor.

The Night is the perfect addition to the Love in O'Leary series. Already a fantastic series, this one may be my favorite. O'Leary, omg, I want to live in O'Leary. Everyone is hysterical yet loving. I can't get enough of them!
This is the perfect book (and series) to just curl up under a warm blanket and lose yourself for a while.

Quin Perin's His Sugar Daddy is one hell of a steamy read. This gem combines Daddy play with a May to December romance, lots of lace, some role playing, and more. 

Liam's a virgin. A high school student, he is of age. Jackson's married but stuck in a loveless marriage. The two find one another through an ad for a Sugar Daddy looking for a Sugar Baby. Soon they meet and agree upon a Daddy/little relationship.

Their story includes some role play, some spanking, and lots and lots of lace! Damn, I love lace!


Their story contains some worry, as Jackson's married. For me, that undertone is always there. Hiding, lying, sneaking around. But damn, I couldn't put this book down. Please note that there is no actual cheating, as Jackson's in an open marriage. But, there is that undertone throughout. However, if you hate cheating of any kind, this one may not be for you.

Oh, and no surprise, their relationship develops into more. Not only do I find this book steamy as can be, it also has some major emotional scenes. Not only is the age difference between these two huge, but their lifestyles are even further apart. The age difference is definitely explored, despite not being a major sticking point.

To me, this book is more than just a daddy kink story. I enjoy the ease with which the two men fall into their rolls. And I love the way they naturally evolve together.

Definitely check out Sugar Daddy when you're in the mood for a sexy Daddy kink book! It is amazingly hot, hot, hot! I seriously loved this delicious read.

Wow! Rend, by Roan Parrish, is an absolute page turner. This story is romantic, powerful and absolutely amazing, as well as extremely complex.

What Matt expects to be just a hook-up with Rhys, ends up being a magical night of really getting to know one another. 

Matt and Rhys fall in love quickly, leading to what is essentially an all encompassing love story between a married couple, as they navigate Rhys' success, traveling, and family issues.

From the start, Rhys is one of the most wonderful book boyfriends ever. He's loving, deep, gentle and extremely caring. He's simply calm and confident. He is everything Matt needs.

Matt, meanwhile, is full of self-doubts and can't understand what Rhys even sees in him. Having been abandoned by his mother, Matt assumes he's unworthy of love. He expects everyone to leave him. 

After a whirlwind marriage, the two are now struggling with Matt's abandonment issues. Their connection is strong and absolutely beautiful, but Matt is still left drowning in his insecurities and loneliness while Rhys is on the road. There are many emotional moments that will leave you sobbing.

I found one of the most intense moments to be when Matt uses Rhys's weight on top of him to ground him. The fact that Matt needs Rhys' physical weight to remind him that Rhys is there, shows just how wounded Matt is.

Overall, Rend is a story full of true love and yet so full of despair. It's a tremendous tale of a broken man who feels unworthy of love trying to survive. As with Riven, the writing style is strong and captivating, and I can't recommend these books enough!
