The plan: hit up the beach with my best friend, get one of those fruity drinks with an umbrella in it, and read my book on the sand with the waves crashing at my feet and the sunshine beaming over me.
Not part of the plan: being distracted by all of the gorgeous single men who apparently inhabit this Texas beachside getaway.
Definitely not part of the plan: falling for one of them.

In Too Deep is the first book in A Texas Beach Town series by Daryl Banner.
Jonah meets Kent while on vacation, with a whirlwind romance following.
Kent's a local who knows not to fall for a tourist, but can't resist Jonah.
I enjoy the way the two men meet and fall into their relationship. They have a lot in common, as both are kind of stuck in a rut, with something unexpected just what they need.
The connection and chemistry between the two is fabulous. The emotions jump off the pages, with everything developing between the couple felt by the reader.
Of course, Jonah went on the vacation with his best friend Rico. And let's just say, that he's a judgmental pain in the ass, and their friendship is tested.
This is a story that addresses that people can enjoy different kinds of fun. I totally appreciate this concept, as it's all too true.
In Too Deep is a nice beach town read. Daryl Banner always adds a special touch to his books, and this one is no exception. The setting fully comes to life and the characters are special. I enjoy it all.
