Storm Season, the first book in Elle Keaton's Accidental Roots series is fun with a whole lot of twists and turns. Action packed, it's full of surprises and discoveries as well as murders. 

I enjoyed the writing, as well as all the snark and banter. The small town feel is written well, and pulls you into the story. Told in dual pov, this is a fun romance packed with mystery.

Adam's FBI agent who's back intown after the death of his father. Micah, meanwhile, is utterly alone and still grieving the loss of his family. These are two men who help each other and make a fantastic couple.

There's plenty of hot sex among all the mysteries and all the danger. If you haven't read this book yet, get it and enjoy.

Storm Season's a thrilling story of two men dealing with their pasts and starting to live again. Elle Keaton has me hooked already on this series.

If you've been following my blog, you'll know that I am in love with Brooke Edward's Casus Fortuitus series. Over and Again, the fourth book in the series, in the perfect addition.

In this book we read a lot about Brock and Cohen, as well as seeing all our favorite characters return. This series have given us a whole cast that I will miss a lot.

Once again, the author treats us to many twists and turns, keeping the readers fully captivated till the end. In addition to all the action and suspense, there's plenty of romance and humor. 

The book has such a realistic feel to it, making it so darn enjoyable. It's easy to become fully engrossed in the action, the emotions, and the settings. 

As Over and Again is the ending for this series, I am sad to see it end. If you haven't read it yet, be sure to check it out.

Saved is a compelling and suspenseful action-romance by Karrie Roman.

Jack and Will's romance develops slowly, in a sweet and tender way, as they become friends and then more. They compliment each other so well, as they are unique characters who help each other start over

Saved contains a copy-cat killer, an intense search for him, and some tough situations. It's a great pace and will leave you fully satisfied. I definitely recommend this Karrie Roman book.

Buck Baxter, Love Detective is a unique and quirky mystery/romance by Geoffrey Knight.

Buck is cynical, never wants to fall in love, and works in a city that will keep him busy with his detective work. When we first meet him, his heart is hardened and any sex he has is with rent boys. And yes, I laughed as he talked about them.

To me the story is more mystery than romance, basically a romance within a mystery. And, I may have actually enjoyed the mystery more than the romance. Or, maybe it just seems that way since the prevalent storyline is the mystery.

The mystery is weird, witty, and downright good. I love the strange turn it takes. The who did it to me is super awesome. I find it to be the best kind of humor. 

Thus, as with Geoffrey Knight's other books I've read recently, I found this one to be a funny and enjoyable. Unlike his Billionaire books, this isn't laugh out loud funny, but rather "damn, nice one" kind of funny.

The writing is also atmospheric, drawing me in by the wonderful descriptions and events of the time. Personally, I haven't read many books about this time period, and I'd be surprised to enjoy a different take on it as much as I enjoyed this. I appreciate the kind of dry humor in this one.

Buck Baxter, Love Detective is worth a read if you're looking for something different. It's a quick read, but has more books that follow.
