I love sports romances, and this author is up there as one of my go-to authors.
This one starts with an instant attraction between Leo and Scarlett. As it's just a hook up, he never tells he what he does for a living.
And then, yup, you guessed it, he discovers he's hooked up with his coach's daughter.
I like the layers both of these characters have. She's dropped out of school but hasn't told her parents. Her life is a mess, with no clear direction and too many questions. Meanwhile, he's a part time college student/full time hockey pro.
These two make for a great couple. Their connection is strong and their bond is even stronger. And they're hot together. Their initial hook up isn't only hot, but it's also adorably funny. She's a hoot and I love it all.
