The Raven God's Gift (Vale Valley Season 4 #3) by E.E. Silver

Blurb

How long would you wait for true love?

Blinded and traumatized on a covert mission five years ago, alpha werewolf Trey has been living in Vale Valley as he tries to piece his life back together. Most days, his only company is his assistance dog and his therapist. But he can’t forgive himself for failing his men, and he can’t forget the perfect mate he let slip through his fingers.

When a prophecy sends Hunter Norn, one of Odin’s own ravens, to the valley seeking a very special baby, the last thing he’s expecting is to find his lost mate. Five years earlier, Hunter vowed he’d wait for Trey as long as it took, and it seems like all of his patience has finally paid off. Now all he has to do is figure out how to make up for all the lost time.

But Trey has no idea about the divine forces that rule Hunter’s world, or the extent of his lover’s abilities. There’s no telling if he’ll even accept the truth once he learns.

The Raven God’s Gift is book three of the fourth season of Vale Valley, where magic is real, pregnancies can take both years and mere weeks to happen, and where love is the greatest gift of all.

EE Silver's The Raven's God's Gift is a fun omegaverse romance.

Different from most of what I usually read, in this one there is a main character who is a god. I usually avoid these types of characters, but I am so glad I took a chance on this one.

Hunter, a god, meets his fated mate, Trey but they are seperated immediately afterwards. What follows is a story of their reunion, as five years have passed, but Hunter is still waiting to be reunited with Trey, in more ways than one. I love the pregnancy and Hunter's stubbornness. And I appreciate Trey's reaction when he returns.

This unique romance is sweet, tender, hot and sexy. The author's writing is fast and entertaining. Told in third person pov, the reader is pulled into the magic of these great characters and the world of Vale Valley.

If you enjoy omegaverse stories, or the Vale Valley series in general, do not miss EE Silver's The Raven God's Gift.

Fixer-Upper (Vale Valley, Season 3 #15) by E.E. Silver

Blurb

King is not your typical sweet omega merman. He’s infamous for his explosive temper and his ability to let it ruin his life – which is why he’s in Vale Valley, jobless, homeless, and staying with his cousin and her husband, the sheriff of Vale Valley. He isn’t planning on take a job helping the new single dad in town remodel a house, and he really isn’t counting on the alpha being the one person he’s been waiting his whole life for.

When baby Anya came into his life, Jonah sold everything he owned in order to move to Vale Valley and open a daycare so he can build a life for the two of them. Anya and a run-down house on the lake are all he has, and wants, in this world. That is, until he meets a prickly omega with more than his fair share of baggage and kisses that melt Jonah’s brain every damn time.

But both men are hiding secrets that could destroy the fragile trust they’ve been building, and King’s determined not to let fate tell him who his mate should be. Even if Jonah is everything King’s ever wanted.

Fixer-Upper is the 16th book in season three of the popular Vale Valley series, where summer romance is in the air all year round, families are well-meaning even when you want them to go away, and surprise babies can be just what’s needed to help a couple of lonely souls build a home together.

A Summer Romance.

EE Silver's Fixer-Upper is everything I usually avoid in a book; shifters and multiple types of shifters to be exact. But damn, it's really good. And I certainly am in love with the cover!

King and Jonah are an interesting pair who meet in Vale Valley. Both men have their share of secrets, but they can't resist one another. King's an omega merman with a large family history, and Jonah's an alpha who's raising baby Anya by himself.

As Jonah is working to open a daycare, King is around to help him. The men face their share of family issues, in addition to recovering from bad relationships in the past. The two are definitely great together, as well as hot, with some steamy scenes. Their tale is full of secrets and lies, which cause some decent angst throughout.

One of the great surprised is that King and Jonah don't stick to their usual stereotypes. I really enjoyed this surprise. As well, these two truly want to be together based on their time together, not just because of their fate.

My first EE Silver read, I was impressed with the writing. The pace is good, with a great flow. The characters are well developed, and the storyline is definitely entertaining.

Overall, Fixer-Upper is a super cute book. I don't seek out books like this, but I really enjoyed it. It really focuses on the couple and their growing relationship, rather than the fantasy side of their worlds, which is a plus to me. Now I'm excited for the winter novella staring King and Jonah.
